    • Synopsis
    • The National Park Yasuni in the Western Amazon Region - is one of the sites with the greatest biodiversity on our planet – and it also holds a big part of Ecuador´s oil reserves.
Ecuador´s president Rafael Correa has made an extraordinary proposal to the International Community of States: to leave the oil in the ground and invest in renewable energy, if the world will pay for protection of it´s green lunges. This offer ends at the end of 2011.
“YASUNI – Two Seconds of Life” explains this complex case and gives speech to all different parties involved. In parallel the movie displays Ecuador´s local music scene and its personal language, adding a very own sound and unique voices.
