    • Synopsis
    • Two Chilean brothers return home after years as mercenaries in Iraq. Jorge is now a night guard at Arica port and Pelao is in a wheelchair. The flashbacks of the war and the bomb that maimed him in Baghdad are becoming so terrifying and distressing, that he decides to end with his life. Jorge and Hanna, Pelao’s German ex-wife, take his ashes to the Altiplano. A hot spring night, Jorge tells her about Iraq. The next day, they pour Pelao’s ashes into a stream before returning to Arica. Both have, in their own way, and thanks to their journey over the Altiplano, moved on.
