Description
Film production company created in 2009 with the release of “The Maid”, winner of the “World Cinema Grand Jury Prize Dramatic” in Sundance 2009 and nominated to the Golden Globe Awards for Best Foreign Film. After a decade in the business, Forastero has produced over 10 films, such as "Thursday Till Friday", "And the Whole Sky Fit in the Dead Cow's Eye", "Dry Martina" and "My Tender Matador".
Objective
The company seeks to continue developing films of high artistic quality, through the exploration of new mechanisms for public and private funding, and by establishing strong co-production relationships within Chile and abroad.
