- Synopsis
- UNLEASHED tells the true story of suburban wife and mother, TOBY JACKSON, a devout Catholic, married to her high school sweetheart. A former corporate manager and self-described Goody-Two-Shoes who’s never so much as jay-walked, Toby runs a non-profit dedicated to rehabilitating rescue dogs and prison inmates. So naturally, when she falls for JOHN MANARD, a convicted murderer half her age, and breaks him out of prison in a dog crate, it’s not just those closest to her who are left scratching their heads. Toby’s story makes national news, catapulting her, aka ‘The Dog Lady,’ into sudden notoriety, forcing her and her entire family to reckon with the fallout.
