- Synopsis
- 1953, in the evening of the North Sea Flood Dutch peasant Gauke mounts his bike, only to stop when he finds his prospective tulip farm in the South of Italy. Together with his wife Ria he stands his against the local maffia. 25 years later the Canadian Anna arrives in the same village, she finds out that the woman who raised her was not her mother. Her real mother was the Dutch Ria. Together with her Italian love she uncovers the romantic tragedy of her family and decides to avenge her father…
