    • In a nearby future, 24-year-old Pedro and 19-year old Yaku flee from a refugee camp
      in the Bolivian highland. Their paths cross with Ruiz', a war-scarred photographer. The war
      is being waged over water, a resource nearing depletion. The baby Yaku carries in her womb,
      life itself in these times, appears miraculous.
