    • Synopsis
    • The Spanish judge Baltasar Garzón, who ordered the arrest of the dictator Augusto Pinochet, together with more than reputed 100 jurists from all over the world, are working on a project to guarantee the international punishment of major economic, financial and environmental crimes.
      With a single weapon: Universal Jurisdiction. A group of judges, prosecutors and lawyers has decided to promote the international denouncement of genocide and war crimes together with actions such as food speculation, issuing junk bonds, squandering public funds or large‐scale contamination, and classify them as Crimes against Humanity. Their aim is to build a new Universal Jurisdiction Code and fight alongside the civilian population to ensure it is applied.
