- Synopsis
- Two women have to face the truth about themselves. Veronica, a 40-year-old scientist, meets the begging hand of the Roma woman Aurelia. The two woman are instinctively drawn to each other. In time, Veronica feels responsible for the poor Aurelia and lets her into her home. Anna, Veronica’s daughter opens up to Aurelia in a way she has never done with her own mother. Veronica soon feels threatened by her new friend and has to decide if she can overcome her fear and jealousy.
