- Synopsis
- Stella fully supports her husband Jurre when he leaves for Oruzgan, as a military on a peace mission. Together with their little daughter she waves him off.
  Of course she worries, but she can phone him and write letters and send parcels, and she even fantasizes about a second child. And after all, he’s only gone for a few months, isn’t he?
  Stella’s brother Twan is in Oruzgan as well. He gets killed in an ambush during a patrol.
  That is only the beginning of Stella’s nightmare. Jurre comes home early – he acts strange, is unapproachable and he withdraws from his friends. He refuses help.
  Everything that’s important to Stella begins to slide. What started as a peace mission turns into a war. Not in Oruzagan, but in the desert of Stella’s terraced house.
