- WAN LING lives with her loving family which includes her mother MIN, father KEXIN and twin sisters, FEI who is autistic since childhood and BING who constantly protects her. One day Kexin who enjoys woodworking decided to renovate the house to make it bigger and more spacious for his family. However, he designed a special passage from the living room to the kitchen. All kinds of strange sounds and noises came from the passageway of the living room and the plants starts to wither after it was built. One night, as the clock struck midnight Wan Ling was alone in the living room working on her script project when the lights starts to flicker. She is visited by a supernatural ghost version of her younger self with a decayed bloody face. Wan Ling told her parents but they refused to believe her. They brush off their presence in the house and continued with their lives. One day Wan Ling passed by an antique shop with her best friend YU and her date BU. Wan Ling was attracted to an ancient hunter-case pocket watch displayed showcase as she was outside and decided to enter the shop. The atmosphere became creepy as no one appeared to be in the shop. From nowhere, an OLD LADY took out the pocket watch and passed it to an enchanted Wan Ling who was jolted by an electric shock and decided to buy the pocket watch. At night she was visited by a pair of bodiless red boots and the pocket watch moved counter-clockwise faster and stopped at 1.37 a.m. After that night, Wan Ling wore the red boots, and 1940s hairstyle and her behaviour changed drastically overnight as resentment showed on her face. Her parents noticed the change in her behaviour during dinner after she had a fit about disliking chicken drumsticks in a Vietnamese accent. They slowly discovered the accident “passageway” in the house and Wan Ling’s ancient pocket watch. They realized that their beloved daughter is possessed by an evil spirit as their daughter's health slowly starts to deteriorate. Wan Ling’s parents searched for aid from spiritual masters, priests, and monks to get rid of the spirit possessing Wan Ling’s body but all failed. However, one of their friends introduces them to a couple who are expertise in ghost hunting and medical skills. Wan Ling’s parents witness the spiritual master’s power as MASTER Q gets rid of a possessed ghost from a woman’s body. Kexin placed his trust in the hands of Master Q to save his daughter before it was too late. The Spiritual Master visits the house to find a screaming Wan Ling attacking him as she becomes increasingly violent and ferocious. Slowly, Master Q learns about CHAI HEONG, a Vietnamese woman in the 1940s who lost her husband as he seeks to find the money for his sickly son's medical treatment as he is killed on the way home.
