- ANITA (25) is a Eurasian mixed Malaysian freelance translator of multiple languages who comes across one of her clients, MISS CHUA (35) who befriends her as she offered Anita a full-time job as a translator in Cambodia with a good sum of money. Too good of an opportunity to be missed, Anita accepts the offer and travels to Cambodia. As she reached there she has trafficked through money laundering, sold, raped, prostituted, filmed for pornography and even used for drug trafficking as they slowly start making her addicted to it. She is shifted to Thailand as she hears about an opportunity to escape back to Malaysia and must find her way back home to escape her tragic fate.
  Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) RANVEER SINGH (55) is exhausted with the increase of missing Malaysians trafficked into human trafficking as he inspects the wall of missing Malaysian citizens as his mission is to find the man responsible for the kidnapped and disfiguring of his nephew SAMVIR. Together with his special unit team which is composed of different officers from the force as they are called 12:21 “twelve twenty-one” plans to eradicate the war on human trafficking in the Southeast Asia region. The special unit team 12:21 includes LIANA, MATT, ROCKY ALI, DEWI and RAM. Ranveer and his team caught one of the Malaysian gang members, CHAIN who revealed the dons of the underworld in Asia which includes one was familiar to the Malaysians, DATIN CRYSTAL LEE (40) who is married to a young DATO RICHARD MANIAM (33) who was honoured with a Datukship title for his humanitarian causes as a volunteer. Crystal blackmailed her husband to marry her to cover up for her as they tries to be involved in Rohingya causes. Every Sunday, they visit the church with their two daughters as she deals with illegal workers, prostitution, and drug trafficking; KHAN a reputable businessman from Bangladesh who deals with immigration, human harvesting and drug trafficking; AMANDA from Indonesia who deals with foreign labour and drug trafficking; and Thailand famous SOM who deals with all kind of human trafficking since Thailand is the highest. The four dons of the underworld are going to have a meeting with their leader who is located somewhere in Europe.
  Ranveer and his team 12:21 learns the different aspect of human trafficking as they get closer to catching the crooks. Ranveer learned the location of the private meeting is being held in Malaysia and their leader called himself “THE LOST BEAR” will be nominating his right-hand man or woman during the meeting.
  Anita is being transported back to Malaysia if she pleases SOM who becomes fond of her. He told her he will make sure she will be placed in a better country as a mail bride somewhere in Europe during their visit to Malaysia as he is unaware she is Malaysian. Anita finds a chance to be transported back home however she ends up joining the meeting of the dons of the underworld. Ranveer and his team bust the operation as they
