- In and around Paris, French cartoonist Joann Sfar is endlessly drawing. A caged gorilla at the Jardin des Plantes. Rungis Fish Market’s colorful dead fishes. The Beaux-Arts and its very lively models. A corpse wide open at the Faculty of Medicine. Long-time friends… The whole word is there to grasp in a brushstroke.
  Mathieu Amalric is watching, looking, spelling out feverishly the pages, going through the artwork in search of its author.
  At the junction of those two approaches, emerges the outline of a high-spirited, hilarious and profound body of work.
