- Synopsis
- Hur Ibn-e Yazid-e Riahi who is accompanied by Bokeir and two thousand lancer commissioned by Obaydollah to stop Imam Hussein’s caravansarai which is going towards Koufe to arrest them. When two armies come face to face, the army of Imam Hussein by ordering of him goes to welcome Hur and his men. Then Hur with his soldiers join Imam Hussein for noon prayers. Obaydollah who became angry about the act of Hur, call Umar ibn Sa'ad and by offering him Rey government sends him with thousands of Kufic towards the caravan of Imam Hussein. Imam Hussein and his small group surrounded by government army in Karbala so he has two choices - either give up and pay allegiance to Yazid, or submit to death. On the day of Ashura, truth shines in the eyes of Hur and Bokeir and they join a caravan of Imam Hussein. At the end, after an unequal battle, Imam Hussein and his followers suffer martyrdom. Bokeir also with approaching to source of truth desist from waywardness and give his life to good values.
