Founded in 1983, Farabi Cinema Foundation (FCF), is the largest organization in the Iranian film industry, leading in production, international distribution, and promotion of Iranian films. FCF is engaged in a wide range of activities within the cinema and film industry, primarily focusing on feature films.Since its establishment, Farabi has been involved in film production, supplying raw materials and camera equipment, providing post-production services, publishing various cinematic literature, and sponsoring film festivals. FCF is the international rights holder of acclaimed classic films from renowned directors such as Abbas Kiarostami, Bahram Beyzaei, Dariush Mehrjouei, Naser Taghvaei, and Masoud Jafari Jozani. Many of these remarkable films like "The Cow," "Close-Up," "Captain Khorshid," "Leila," "Frosty Roads," and "Killing Mad Dogs " have recently been restored and are now available on DCP or HD quality.
