- Anne lost her son nine months ago. But at night, his tormented, mutilated figure haunts her home.
  To her friends and family, Anne has become an emotionally withdrawn remnant of who
  she once was. But deep down, fuelled by her grief and powerlessness, an insatiable
  anger burns within her. After a destructive and public meltdown, Anne is mandated to attend group therapy and it’s there she meets PETER. He seems to understand her trauma better than anyone else.
  As they become close friends, Anne learns how Peter confronted his grief, and in turn is presented with a tempting opportunity to confront hers.
  Desperate for the hauntings to stop, and encouraged by Peter, Anne gives in to her violent fantasies, unaware that she’s falling into the depraved and manipulative plan Peter has set out for her.
  
  Held is a dark and twisted story with breakout potential. It’s an unsettling observation of self-destruction in the face of overwhelming loss, and the pain we’re capable of inflicting on each other to deal with our own. It balances elements of horror and psychological thriller to personify the multi-faceted and conflicting emotions that are part of the grieving process.
