- Synopsis
- In ‘Happy Family market gardener and widower Thijs finds a new partner through a small ad. In order to win the vivacious Jackie for him, he learns to rock ‘n’ roll. At the same time, his grandson Omar falls madly in love with Meral, but he can only win her if he manages to beat her brother in a bout of oil wrestling. Thijs comes to his aid and teaches him to fight. Omar’s mother and aunt, Vonne and Aafke, watch his efforts and those of their father disdainfully. Basically both women are incredibly jealous.
