    • Synopsis
    • Armenia is in a state of change, dealing with attacks from a neighboring country and internal debates about its future. For Karine, this means that she must decide which path in life to follow when she leaves school. Growing up in a rural family that breeds dog for ritualistic dog fighting, the clear path for her is to become a Kochari dancer before finding a man, marrying, and becoming a housewife. Karine, however, learned to tend to wounded dogs from her father and now she wants to become a vet with her own clinic so that she can help animals

As Armenia debates on a national level whether or not to ban dog fighting, Karine's home becomes a place of debate in which different perspectives are able to be discussed openly. Assumptions that underpin her family's conservative ideology are scrutinised by Karine until slowly they find themselves agreeing with her more then they disagree.

Fight is an optimistic vision of change in which a family learns to live more deliberately.
