- Synopsis
- Not long from now, the Second American Civil War has come and gone, leaving a fractured country in its wake. When Jack was a boy, his mother was killed on the eve of the conflict by his father, a separatist general now presumed to be dead. Decades later, Jack learns his father is alive and hiding in a lawless no man’s land. He sets out to kill him and avenge his mother’s death, discovering that his estranged son, Miles, has snuck along for the violent journey. Unable to turn back, Jack is forced to look out for a boy he knows nothing about as Miles discovers the horrors his father is capable of in the name of revenge.
