Now he is under pressure to compete with younger co-workers and immigrants. Grudgingly following the boss' orders, Armin instructs the young Russian Igor Trelkovsky on his first day. Igor responds to Armin's hostilities and taunting with kindness and cordiality. But when he goes too far, Igor wants to quit the job. Fearing the possible consequences, Armin forces himself to collaborate with the Russian.
