Description
NiKo Film was founded in Berlin in 2005 and produces art-house feature and documentary projects for cinema and television. Our films are personal and socially relevant; they represent particular attitudes, while never forcing the issue.Our films have been sold all over the world by sales agents such as Pyramide Int., mk2, Global Screen and Les Films du Losange. They were sucessfully screened at renowned festivals and were awarded in many cases, e.g. in Cannes, Berlinale, Venice and Toronto.
Objective
In 2022 MORE THAN EVER premiered at Cannes starring Vicky Krieps and Gaspard Ulliel. AUTOBIOGRAPHY by Makbul Mubarak premiered at the Venice Biennale. LA GRANDE MAGIE by Noémie Lvovsky and DÉSERTS by Faouzi Bensaïdi are currently in post-production. In addition, NiKo Film is developing coproductions such as ATHENS DRESDEN by Sonia Kentermann, L'EFFACEMENT by Karim Moussaoui, LES FANTOMES by Jonathan Millet and the series ECHOES by Kai Gero Lenke and MISS SURVIVOR by Donna Sharpe.
