    • Synopsis
    • After 7 days of marriage, Kenichi Uhara leaves on a business trip to his former working place, Kanazawa, the northern part of Japan, and never returns. His wife, Teiko, having only known him through an arranged marriage, cannot begin to grasp the situation. She embarks on a journey up to Kanazawa to solve the mystery of his disappearance. Fate brings her into contact with two women; Sachiko Murota, the wife of the president of a local brick-makers (and former client of Kenichi), and Hisako Tanuma, an uneducated lowly receptionist at the same company. Teiko's husband's disappearance snares the three women in a web of fate as a series of murders unfolds. Meanwhile, one truth has become clear: Each killing involves someone known to Kenichi!
