- Synopsis
- 17 years old Sam ends up in Whitehorse, Yukon, in the middle of winter. She is taken in by Yuko, a Japanese cook in exile.
  
  Yukon's roommate, Garin, is trying to make peace with the strange disappearance of his mother, a First Nations woman who disappeared 20 years ago.
  
  Dad, Garin's father, drowns his loneliness in alcohol and is visited by a strange Crow.
