    • Synopsis
    • On her 30th birthday, Florencia takes stock of her life. She loves being a nurse, she loves the city where she lives (it has taken her five years to get used to the Montreal winters after moving from Santiago), and she’s in love with her wonderful girlfriend, Caroline. But, of course, there’s the issue of her family...
Since her mother’s death, Florencia’s family has been ruled with an iron fist by her very religious aunt, Teresa. Although Florencia’s father, Antonio, didn’t disown Florencia when she came out to him, they gradually stopped speaking. Florencia suspects Teresa had a lot to do with this. There’s also the issue of Antonio’s girlfriend – the 35 year-old Elena. Florencia can’t imagine how her father could be with someone so young. She sees Elena as the evil young stepmother of her nightmares.
The family’s life is turned upside down when Antonio suffers a severe stroke - and awakes from a coma with 20 years of memories missing. So Florencia must choose, come out to her father and risk losing him all over again. Or lie – pretend to be someone she’s not and save her family.
