- Synopsis
- Stockbroker and billionaire Terry (Chi-lam Cheung), rarely seen in public, owns a couple of international investing firm. Doing business has been a piece of cake for him; the secret of his success is not by a magic lantern, but by the “Law of Attraction”: if you believe good things are going to happen, luck will always come find you.
  Whereas ordinary Mongkok girl Bobo (Chrissie Chau) is completely different, the god of luck is never by her side. With an unfortunate upbringing, she lives with huge debt and works multiple jobs to support her family. Although living in such harsh circumstances, Bobo is still a happy-go-lucky girl.
  One night in a club where Bobo works, she chances Terry and thinks he is some kind of womanising con artist. The moment Bobo is about to confront Terry and teach him a “lesson”, a group of gangster come to collect the debt Bobo owes them, but ironically Terry saves her.
  Not want his ex Chloe to find out he has been single for the past 20 years, Terry is desperately in search of a partner to attend her 20th wedding anniversary party. He eventually decides to hire Bobo to play his fake girlfriend and offers her $200,000 as remuneration. During the trip to Japan, Bobo helps Terry let go of the grudges he holds against Chloe and makes him open himself to others. Terry is attracted to her personality and her kindness, and he asks Bobo to become his official girlfriend in the return trip, and promises to realise all five of her ridiculous wishes. But Terry never takes a break from work for Bobo, and she also finds out he has made same promises to another girl who shares similar life experience as her. Bobo realises she is not the only one in Terry’s life. She leaves a note to Terry: “Thank you for helping me fulfil all my dreams, but they would not be a whole without you.” They go separate roads from then on.
  After the break up, Terry is back to work as devoted as ever, until the day he receives a video from Chloe’s husband, who brings him the news that Chloe has passed away. Before she dies, she has recorded a video especially for Terry. She hopes he can let go of everything and learn to love again, because one can only feel love when they are in love. After viewing the video, Terry realises he has forgotten how to love, and Chloe’s last words give him the urge to feel love again. He made a very special plan to win back Bobo’s heart, but is Terry’s masterful plan enough to make her returns to his arm?
