- Helena’s husband has gone off with a younger woman. Christmas is coming, life is slow and nothing is as it used to be. Helena’s best friend Ulli talks her into spending Christmas at the only destination they can afford and that still has room. They are looking forward to an old-time Christmas in the country just among women. Christmas at the organic farm is hosted by two young fledgling farmers for whom even offering farm accommodation provides a new opportunity for communal togetherness. As the days of the Christmas season pass, the lives of the guests, as well as the hosts, unexpectedly take a completely new turn and the women of Wonderland face life’s big questions.
