    • Synopsis
    • With the lips closed tells the story of Carlos, a talentless ventriloquist that since he was a little child has been told by his mother to participate in talent shows where he always ends up losing, crying and hugging her.

      He grows older (45) and becomes a worse person every day. He is vicious, perverted, sadistic, and, worst of all, he is still a ventriloquist.

      Suddenly his mother dies so he tries to change his life. He leaves his job, his girlfriend, betrays Chalo and gets another girlfriend. Everything moves chaotically. New people, new circumstances but the same decadent human being who does not know how to face this “new” life who turns out to be very similar to the past.
      Inevitably, Carlos will end up embracing his mother once again but this time transformed into a dummy.
