- Synopsis
- The struggle for democracy in the dark and bloody days following the 12 September 1980 coup brought the people into conflict with the state army. At a time when ‘unsolved’ murders were rife, Gece, a four-year old girl, witnessed her parents being killed by the police in a house where revolutionists were living. Years later, Gece agrees to become a suicide bomber for a revolutionist organization in order to avenge her parents. But arriving in the city to settle scores, she finds herself exploring the value of life, love and friendship when she meets the caretaker’s son Yusuf.
