- Synopsis
- Del Jerome sits in a diner talking to her dead sister in the aftermath of a shoot out. Del’s partner, Merrick, shows up and they head toward New Mexico to escape their employer- Del’s mother Sylvia.
  
  They stop in Wildwood for food where an old lady causes a scene with Del, thinking she’s her long lost granddaughter. Roger, the police chief gets involved and finds that Del doesn’t have a license for her loaded gun. The duo has to stay in town while they sort out if Del is missing girl, Erin and an illegal weapon possession. Joyce, Erin’s mother, Larry, the father, Millie, the grandmother, and Doug, the brother take the duo in and they experience the small town life while trying to hide from Sylvia, hit woman, Betsy, and freelance contract killer, John.
  
  Merrick manages to keep Roger off their backs. Del meets the police chief’s son and Erin’s ex, Chet, who was a suspect in Erin’s disappearance. Del suspects she is the twin sister of the missing girl since she was adopted by Sylvia as a baby. At the town’s big Tulip Festival, Del tells Merrick the shoot out at the diner happened because Del was going to sell Sylvia out before she could leave her killers out to dry- killing her step-sister to save a little boy taken hostage. Del encounters a masked man trying to kill her, killing him in return. It turns out to be a local cop. The duo come clean to the family and, along with Doug, hatch a plan to bring Erin’s murderer to light while still getting word out about Sylvia to the other killers.
  
  Meanwhile, Besty tracks Del down with John who seems to be stalling. Sylvia, and her hired assassins meet up with Betsy to face Del and Merrick in Wildwood. At the local lumber mill, Chet admits to killing Erin and his father covering it up. Betsy and John appear and ruin Del’s plan. Roger shows up with Sylvia and her crew who have Joyce as a hostage. Betsy plays a message recorded earlier from Del revealing that John works for the CIA and has been helping her expose Sylvia. Larry drives his truck through the mill windows, saving the group but making the mill unstable.
  
  There’s a big showdown ending with Del killing Sylvia and the lumber mill collapsing. All but Merrick escape. Outside, giving their testimonies, Betsy confronts Del and forgives her. Merrick emerges from the wreckage and he shares a moment with Del in the rain.
