    • Synopsis
    • Ruth, Deborah and Kate head to a cabin high in the Colorado Rockies, for one last weekend together before college. The girls settle in for an evening of beer, pot, and stories around the fire. But as daylight fades, the stillness of the woods presses in on them, and their secluded refuge becomes strange and hauntingly unfamiliar. At 11,000 feet, the air is thin and things are not always what they seem. Deep in the night, a stranger appears who claims to have been squatting in the empty cabin. Drunk, high, and cut off from help, the girls take the man captive. The girls' secret fears about their sexuality, their friendship, and their future fuel the confrontation with the stranger through the course of one feverish night. Have they stumbled upon a violent predator from their past, or will an innocent man fall victim to their pent-up rage? Shot on location in the spectacular Colorado Rocky Mountains, WILDERNESS SURVIVAL FOR GIRLS uses edge-of-your-seat suspense to explore the rich and intoxicating inner lives of teenage girls.
