When a Texas Ranger, Samantha Payne, is asked to reopen a 15 year old missing person case, she begins to believe that the boy was murdered by wealthy family man Scott Briggs after discovering his son, Ben, was having a relationship with the boy. Samantha stops at nothing to discover the truth of the boys whereabouts, putting her life in jeopardy in order to do so.
