- Synopsis
- A series of feature films presenting stories of Poles rescuing their Jewish neighbours, friends and complete strangers during WWII. Whoever helped Jews risked being murdered. Most of the time not only the one who dared stand up to the Germans’ orders was executed, but their whole families as well. During the Holocaust, a simple gesture of humanity was perceived as a heroic act. The humanitarianism and humanity demonstrated by these brave men and women deserve exceptional admiration and respect.
