    • Synopsis
    • This is the story of a short trip that accounts for a long story. Vanesa travels to Geneva for a week to meet with the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child to denounce what has happened to her brother, Luciano Arruga.
Luciano is a teenager when he disappears on the 31st of January of 2009. Five years and eight months later, he appears buried as an unidentified body in the Chacarita cemetery in Buenos Aires. Vanesa accounts the details of the search she has carried out with a group of young people throughout the years. In the beginning, her search is tinged by solitude and despair but as the cause becomes collective the motivation to continue is strengthened. A broad audiovisual register of the group’s activities is interwoven with Vanesa’s story allowing to grasp an intimate understanding of the functioning of the group as it grows through the years in its quest for truth and justice. The story advances and while the political intricacies and police involvement in the case of Luciano are exposed, the growth of Vanesa and a group of young people who fight to defend human rights are also brought to light.
