    • Synopsis
    • BOSTIN (36) is a washed up guy and an embarrassing dad. The way he sees it, he just wants to have some fun and live life to the full. But to HANNAH (12), his daughter, everything about him is lame - especially having to spend Christmas with him this year (her mum’s off on a Med cruise with her new boyfriend).
Bostin coerces Hannah into helping him do his shifts at the totally naff Planet Winterworld; “hey, it’s the funnest place on Earth and we can be together”. To smooth things over, he gives Hannah an early Christmas present: an adorable dog called JASPER. Okay, he found Jasper as a stray, but it’s the thought that counts, right? Bostin, Hannah and Jasper settle into their new schedule at the ultra-commercialised parent trap that is Planet Winterworld, charging kids ten pounds to look at ‘Randolph the Donkey’ or to experience the Tunnel of Magical Sparkles (some trees with a few Christmas lights), while the snooty elves think they are better than everyone else.
Hannah is totally fed up with the whole deal but the one spark of joy is the park’s local celebrity SANTA CHRISTMAS, who is equally frustrated at the rampant commercialism. When Bostin and Hannah witness Santa Christmas being kidnapped one night they team up with a teenage misfit and self styled social media legend, GARY THE GREAT (16) (“this will make some great Vines”) to find out who kidnapped Santa Christmas?

All their snooping and fun hijinks help them build evidence that points towards their supervisor EVIL BRYONY (28) and the park’s shifty owner MR SCHLUPENHOFF (48).

They have plans to close the park for good and run away with the money – leaving all the families who have pre-booked out of pocket and with no Christmas cheer.

In a fast and funny finale, our gang find Santa Christmas and save the day, but not without a Christmas twist that no-one was expecting… And they learn the true spirit of Christmas can’t be bought with a ticket to a tacky theme park. It’s about the finding the spirit of giving and of family within yourself.
