- Synopsis
- While in exile in a small faraway town in Northeast Brazil, an important peasant leader, persecuted by the military dictatorship, is forced to fight on her own in order to raise her two children at the very same time that she battles with the fear of being found. Throughout seventeen years of her life, she manages to live with a false name and bears in mind the real reason why she must keep herself connected with her true identity.
