    • Synopsis
    • The film REDEMOINHO tells the story of the reencounter of two lost friends, Luzimar and Gildo. Both of them were born in Cataguases, a small town at Minas Gerais State, Brazil, and spent their childhood together. Luzimar has never been out of town and work as a labourerat in a cotton factory. Gildo went to São Paulo city and believe he has achieved success: he has even managed to acquire a brand new Volkswagen Beetle. A few days before the 1979`s Christmas Eve, Gildo comes back to Cataguases to meet his mother. As Luzimar sees the car in front of the house, he goes after Gildo. From this meeting, impelled by alcohol, memories, remorse and resentment, two lives are full recalled. After all, who made the best the choice?
