    • Where the Fire Burns is a road story. Ayse suddenly falls sick and is hospitalized for an urgent operation. Her family is hugely supportive at first, but during the operation the girl is found to be 14 weeks pregnant. Once recovered from the successful surgery, Ayse refuses to reveal who the father of her baby is. And the family who rallied to save her life now tries to kill her. Her father Osman, who takes on the task of killing her, sets off on a trip with Ayse. While Osman is plotting to poison his daughter, Ayse is blindly unaware of his intent. This trip by father and daughter is a time of getting to know each other, a process tinged with regrets.
