    • Synopsis
    • From a snowy small town in Northern Michigan to the mountains of Afghanistan and back, Where Soldiers Come From follows the four-year journey of childhood friends,
forever changed by a faraway war. Enticed by a $20,000 signing bonus and college tuition support, best friends Dominic and Cole join the National Guard after graduating
from high school. After their return from Afghanistan, no longer the carefree friends they once were before enlisting, the challenges begin to surface. Where The Soldiers Come From follows the depth of their disorientation and dislocation, their struggle to fit back into their daily routines and the effect their re-entry has had on their families and community.
