    • Synopsis
    • What We Carried is a short documentary centered on three generations of Palestinian women — a grandmother, a mother, and a daughter — who reflect on what they carried through decades of forced displacement. From the Nakba of 1948 to the ongoing violence in Gaza, their testimonies form a shared narrative of memory, loss and resistance. What they carried flows through their stories — not only physical objects, but emotions, silence, strength, and the responsibility to remember. Through intimate interviews and a poetic approach, the film becomes a quiet act of collective remembrance.
