    • Synopsis
    • Fall 1955. A group of radio drama actors gets ready for their next performance. There is the radio, the tours, the characters and the adventures of a production that was typical of those days. But there are also their own passions, those that develop unexpectedly day after day.

Another episode is broadcast live and they hurry out of the radio station to get on the beat-up bus that will take them to the next town on their tour. Weary, through muddy paths and unpaved roads, they finally arrive. The curtain rises… it’s magic! There they are. They, who until now had been nothing but a voice. There they are, splendid, drawing the applause, the laughs and tears of the audience. Over and over again. Tireless.

They became involuntary witnesses to the happy days of a country that would lose its innocence in the years to come. They felt the pain of the lethal wound that silenced radio drama forever. They starred in the happy ending of their story and in the tragic end of their own lives.

Intended as a tribute to the old popular radio drama, this movie is also an expression of gratitude to those who touched the hearts of a wide humble audience, and delighted us with their stories, their dreams and their inexhaustible passion for acting.
