- Synopsis
- The story revolves around three average students, Wei Jie and his younger, Bao as well as WeiJie’s best friend in school, Jian Ren who is facing problems with their families, friends and others around in their daily life especially Bao who is young and innocent faces a lot of confusion and dilemmas that would decide whether or not is he a good and obedient boy or a naughty and disobedient life. To Bao, apart from scoring good results in school examination, being a good boy in the eyes of his parents mean everything to him as he frequently observes and behave obediently regardless of right or wrong in order to please his parents and earn their praises. Bao’s brother on the hand has no intention of pleasing his parents but to focus entirely in doing what he likes to do the most that is inventing. Despite of studying in what is considered the worst polytechnic institution in Singapore, ITE Polytechnic, Wei Jie seems to possess both interest and talents in inventing which allows him always invent weird inventions that is used to prank lecturers or others. As for Jian Ren, his mother’s negligence towards him as a result of her hectic schedules cause him to be in a rebellious behavior as he always gets involve with loan-shark activities due to his heavy debt. Although his mother has a successful career as a speaker, he refuses to ask help from her and is determined to pay debt on his own. As a result, he now works as an errand boy for the loan shark organization. Unable to sit aside and watch them to be led astray, CK their lecturer is determined to help in order to inspire and touch them deep within.With Bao’s father hiding himself from the load shark he is in debt to and his mother who suffers a concussion and is unconscious, Wei Jie has take up the responsibility to not only take care of the family but also to help pay the debt. With Jian Ren’s help, his debt is clear and he ends up working for Jian Ren’s creditor, Qiang as well to run errands and splash paints at other debtors’s houses. Concerned with risk of getting caught by the police, Wei Jie and Jian Ren together come out with an idea to invent a debt collecting machine which would help them to shoot paints at houses and forces others to pay their debts. To do so, they have turn to their lecture, CK for help. Both promise him that they will represent the school to take part in the national inventing competition. Amazed by the function that the debt collecting machine provides, Qiang suggests the idea of creating a squadron of debt collector machine to increase the effectiveness of collecting debt for the organization to the main head of the organization, Boss Ma. Wishing to quit the organization, Wei Jie and Jian Ren promise them that they would upgrade their invention and take part in the competition in Malaysia without being aware that the competition actually does not exist. Meanwhile Boss Ma and Qiang plan to use the upgraded debt collecting machine to smuggle drugs from Malaysia to Singapore. After overheard the conversation, CK worries that they might actually kill both of them and thus trying to follow them to JB in order to save them…
