- Synopsis
- The documentary "Wir sind das Dorf" deals with the social questions that arise through the structural changes occurring inside Europe's villages. Through personal stories, the film paints the portrait of different people, that we could describe as crazy, reckless or foolishly courageous. Yet, without their pioneering spirit we, as a society, would find ourselves deprived of their unique impulses. The main protagonists of the film all come from vastly different backgrounds the four of them share an unconditional love for their home and a fearlessness to question and challenge authority.
