- Synopsis
- 15 years ago, the sea disappeared off the coast of Windholm. Since then, an oppressive calm radiates on the environment, raises questions, causes discomfort. The cause of the anomaly is still unclear. With a new theory, the ambitious physics student Micha is one of many young scientists who are fighting for the rare research jobs at the university. After years of work, however, he must experience how his daring project fails in the ossified system - he must not continue his project. Secretly Micha sets off with his colleague Jana to check his hypothesis on his own.
  
  Between dilapidated houses and deserted streets, Micha and Jana, in their search for the truth, become more and more enthralled by this forgotten place, where they are revealed to a reality that they still have to face.
