- Synopsis
- Future mothers and fathers meet in Naples and trough Teresa, the
  midwife, they question each other, confide in each other and prepare
  for the shocking and incredible event that awaits them.
  Teresa De Pascale, a seventy-year-old woman, white hair wrapped in
  a braid, a slender and minute appearance and a great predisposition
  to listening to and to dialogue. Once a week she organizes open
  groups for women so that they can experience motherhood and
  childbirth in a conscious way and as protagonists, respecting their
  choices, their individualities, their desires and above all respecting
  the new life they will give birth. The women in the circle are all
  different in age and background, for some of them this will be the first
  pregnancy, for others the second…They meet, know each other and
  open up, without too many inhibitions, they dedicate a time, a “waiting
  time”, where everything seems more exciting, dilated, in which fears
  and joys can appear amplified. "During moments of transition it is
  important to have someone who reaches out to us, and this is my job",
  says Teresa. "Labour and childbirth are nothing more than moments
  of transition, once your baby is born, you will never be the same, you
  too will be born with him".
