    • Synopsis
    • Zeynel and his wife Gülizar, who live in Diyarbakır, move into a larger apartment as they’re expecting a baby. With the prospect of becoming a father, Zeynel’s memories about his own father Mustafa, who died when he was just a child, re-emerge and he starts listening to the sound recordings that his father used to send them. Zeynel’s mother Base, who lives in Elbistan, gave him only one of these recordings. She didn’t part with the others because she was worried they might get damaged or lost. When his mother, who normally spends the winters with Zeynel and his family in Diyarbakır, makes up various excuses and doesn’t visit them for a long time, Zeynel gets worried and goes to Elbistan to check up on her.
