For the safety of her child, Dolores, decides to send her son, Rafi, to a boarding school away from the father’s ire. The result is tragic. When Rafi’s life is threatened by bullies at school, the child escapes and ends up lost in the city’s red-light district. There, a mysterious woman startles the child, and he bites her in her arm. The woman hunts the child down, and with supernatural strength, she sinks her fangs into the child’s neck, and Rafi transforms into a female vampire. This is how Violenta is born.

Our film is both furious and endearing, as we follow Violenta, a ferocious vampire predator. While she struggles with the victimized child still inside her, Violenta begins to discern the difference between justice and revenge with some help from Sandy, a level-headed trans woman who has become Violenta’s life companion.

Now a vampire vigilante, Violenta targets abusive men in the shadows of her old, colonial hometown. She has been watching her mother from afar for years, and it is not long before she decides to enter her mother’s life again in search of answers.

A homeless surrogate child named Truman, a handsome, mafioso love interest named Armando, Violenta’s still abusive father, Pedro, and a clumsily dangerous, emancipated Dolores lead our film to an unexpected conclusion in which Violenta is called to make a choice between avenging and saving her family, or losing her existence.
