    • “Victoria Falls” is a Nicholl Fellowship award-winning screenplay, penned by blacklist writer Matt Ackley. Set in the tumultuous world of the 2001 Zimbabwe elections, the country faces its first shift in political power since independence. The dictatorial regime of Robert Mugabe has encouraged the land invasions of white farms as a way of holding onto power.

Two childhood friends Ojaji, black, and Nico, white, who both work as rafting guides by the Zambezi River become swept up in the danger and the drama of this conflict. Faced with the decision to either leave Zimbabwe for new beginnings in the US or to remain and build a homeland that desperately needs a future.
