    • Synopsis
    • Two ordinary musicians joined protests in a village not far from their hometown, unaware that this will change their life forever. They slowly became more involved in the protests against the newly built military base near the village. However, tragedy struck when the older friend died under the stress of the protests, leaving a final will: to be buried directly in front of the military base, finding solace when it was finally dismantled.
Devastated but determined, his friend decided to leave his past life behind, packing only his guitar and finding refuge in an abandoned house in the middle of protests. With his guitar slung across his back, he transformed the village into his stage, holding one-band concerts wherever he went.
Every day, he made a pilgrimage to his late friend’s tomb. However, its location within the restricted military zone made these visits a constant struggle with police and militants. Years passed without any hopeful change for villagers about the military base, casting a long shadow over the locals. The lack of progress began to sow seeds of doubt. The villagers, particularly the elders, felt the weight of their seemingly endless fight. For our musician, a crucial doubt remains: could he keep the spirits alive, or shall he leave his friend’s alone and turn back to his previous life?
