    • Synopsis
    • Celal lives an unhappy family life in a small town with his wife Sevilay and his son. Celal and his brother Cemal run an electrical shop, but business isn’t good and they’re in debt. The only fun they have is going to night clubs in Samsun. Celal’s love for Sibel Ceylan, who works in the night club, promises to land him in trouble. Celal’s wife Sevilay saves up the money sent by her father, who has been living in Germany for 15 years. But she doesn’t know that Celal knows her secret. Living an unhappy life, Celal thinks that this money will be his salvation and he makes a plan.
      The word ‘vavien’ derives from the French ‘va et vient’, literally ‘coming and going’. It is also an international electrical term, denoting a two-way switch.
