- Synopsis
- Exquisitely crafted, award-winning story of the perseverance of the human spirit in the heart wrenching face of war.
  
  Two sisters arrive in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley at the onset of the Syrian war seeking refuge after fleeing war-torn Damascus. Older sister Rima, who is eight months pregnant, must try to rebuild their lives, while younger sister Nour risks her safety, desperate to find their missing brother. The time in the camp becomes a test of survival, loyalty, and family bonds.
  
  As days in the camp turn to weeks, Rima and Nour begin to realize that their journey together into exile is not only a struggle for survival, but ultimately a test of loyalty to their country, their family and each other.
