- Synopsis
- Olivia Moore (Kandace Burnett) is a broken, hardworking, single parent who supports her daughter by running an outpatient clinic with her childhood best friend Karen (Neshia Wilson). After constantly fighting and finding out her baby daddy Slick (Deondre Parker) is an unfaithful man, Olivia goes crazy on him and jeopardizes her position in life. Then walks in ex- NFL player Corey Mack (Deonde Crawford), Olivia's old fling from back in the day, needing assistance in his road to recovery from his injury on the field. As Olivia makes efforts to heal Corey and allow her heart to be mended by him, adversity settles in from all angles. Simultaneously, Olivia's father Robert Johnson(Thomas M. Hanks), a widowed husband, is struggling to make amends with his past and continue living life in the present. His other daughter Jasmine (Makayla Bush), has been having to play mediator between Olivia and Slick, all while keeping the identity of her daughter's father a secret. Insecurities and mistrust settle in, causing Olivia to question the integrity of her sister. Jasmine openly defends herself but continues to keep her promises of remaining silent on certain issues, leaving her looking ever the more guilty and justifying Olivia disowning her as her sister. With the grief of his wife weighing heavily on him, on top of trying to hold his family together, Robert is nearly at the end of his wits. Finding out family secrets, experiencing heartbreaking betrayals, and even death. Olivia no longer recognizes her life as her own. Leaving her in a place of UNSURETY.
